commitment. The Special Care Centre is an accredited organization registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs as an Establishment for Disabled Care and Rehabilitation.
For the past 18 years, the Special Care Centre has successfully run an educational facility for students with special needs in Abu Dhabi, serving to date 350 children.
The Special Care Center provides discounted feels to many of the students, allowing underprivileged families the opportunity to education.
The Special Care Centre, as a non-profit organization that relies heavily on donations and volunteers.
The Administration and staff of Special Care Centre practice a holistic, developmental and psycho-educational philosophy, which takes into account the needs of the whole child. Looking beyond a disorder, the staff’s build upon each student’s existing strengths. Upon admission each child is thoroughly examined by a multi-disciplinary team and provided with educational programs based on an Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
The Donate A Brick Campaign calls for the community to come together to raise funds to build the new campus. The concept behind this is to build a school by the community for the community. This endeavor will bring individuals, schools and the corporate and government sectors together. Uniting in the drive for better education, rehabilitation, and development of children with special needs in the nation. In return, the Special Care Centre will give back threefold as it will welcome families, professionals, and community members.
