The school learning environment will tend to the students from early detection and diagnosis to adulthood and independence. Students will be enrolled for early intervention with an individualized family program and then proposed individualized educational, transitional, and vocational programs.
 

The School Units
The Special Care Centre will be one of the first programs in Abu Dhabi to provide specialized activity areas making uses of state of the art technology. These include:

A Clinic: Provides assessments, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological services, and on-site medical services.

A Vocational Unit: Prepares young adults to become productive members of society through job placements in the community and at school. The department will include: woodworks, art and crafts, shops, and a greenhouse.

Resource Centre: Displays a sensory integration room, library, computer lab, art room, music room, science lab, and home economics room.

Adaptive Physical Education: Includes a gym, hydrotherapy pool, cycling track, outdoor field, basketball court and play area.
